Hi,

Is it usual for my phone (HTC Touch2) to automatically switch from using its
own HSDPA/3G connection for data to my Windows XP's either LAN or Broadband
connection?

This happens as soon as I plug the USB into my phone and Activesync connects
to it.

I'd far prefer to have the phone stay on its own data connection and not
leech onto my PC's own connections! Is there a tweak for this?

Yes -- I am a newbie.
;-P

Thanks.

Don't know but you should consider the security implications of being
connected the way you want. Suspect thats why it sets the way it does. YMMV
