Outlook Will Not Sync to My New Phone

Hi, everyone.

I just upgraded my phone. Syncing with Windows Mobile Device Center
(latest version) worked fine with my AT&T/HTC Fuze running Windows
Mobile 6.1. Now, however, I have an AT&T/HTC Tilt 2 running 6.5, and my
Outlook data will not sync.

I have set up a partnership and told it I want to sync contacts,
appointments, tasks, and notes. It tells me it has synced successfully
each time, but the Outlook data is not syncing.

My guess is that there is some change in 6.5 so that now it's unable to
find my .pst file, which is in a nonstandard location. Is there a way I
can specify the location?

Thanks!

I doubt the non-standard position is the issue- WMDC has to know where the
data is, not the phone. If it synced ok with the Fuze, WMDC knows where
your data is.

Have you deleted and recreated the partnership yet? (Keep in mind deleting
the partnership will erase any PIM data on the phone, but I'm assuming that
as your new phone the Tilt 2 is "blank.") Recreating the partnership will
give you a "do over" and tell the phone all the data is unsynced.

Added piece of data. Both my Win7 Ultimate and the XP machines are running
Office 2007 with all SPs and other updates installed. Outlook on the XP
machine has three Contact lists.

Not an answer, but a "me too". Just got two of the HTC Tilt2's from AT&T.
One synched perfectly the first time (Win 7 machine). The other identical
Tilt2 connected to an XP Pro desktop, copied about four non-contiguous
contacts out of over 300 and brought them over to the phone.

As added info, it also reported a status of error code 86000108, which in my
searches has been primarily an Exchange Server issue, but this is not
exchange server.

[[[[[[[[[[[[[When you open Windows Mobile Device. Go to Mobile Device Settings and then go to CHANGE CONTECT SYNC SETTINGS. Under all the things you want sync to your phone you should see something like this: SYNC SETTINGS. Make sure your computer is marked.
