Hi, I upgraded from AS 4.5 Beta to 4.5. now its asking me to setup a new
partnership, which i really don't want to. i don't see the need. is this
normal? im sure this happened last upgrade. its just a big headache. how do i
get it to reconise the original partnership, with the same name and folders?

thank you

I had the same problem but it was no big deal for me, I just set up the new
partnership. Upon synchronisation I combined the items on the pc and the pda
and all was fine afterwards.

Hi,
Unfortunately, Microsoft decided that ActiveSync 4.5 would be an uninstall
of the older version and fresh install of AS 4.5. So this means you cannot
use the same name and folders - you have to delete the partnership and
re-establish it.

I had a similar problem and still do. was working fine till i set up as a
guest on a different PC, now, my primary PC will not recognize the original
partnership. any suggestions on how to get that path correct? it keeps
telling me that i have the partnership set up, but then it asks for a new
name for the primary pc.
